In this digital photomontage series I have explored memories of my childhood, and the act of recall itself. The memories are specifically those of childhood books, and of how the characters in the text have stayed in my mind into adulthood. The background images in the scenes completely juxtapose with the foreground objects as a way to illuminate the idea that a child’s imagination can bloom anywhere, especially when reading a book.
