Rachel Clews

I have always been a sketcher, I sketch objects, shapes, imaginative and abstract thoughts that I believe have no meaning and is a result of habit, but lately I have been thinking what if they do have a meaning? I am hoping to explore this idea.

In this printmaking series Mind of Mind I have investigated this by combining an art form that I am consciously aware with; Photography along with the sketches to create a combination of the two in my prints. I have done this as a way to discover if there is a meaning behind the sketches I unconsciously create.
